Junior Rangers 6 August - 5 October 2012 Knowsley Safari Park An exciting 3 day course for children aged 12-15 to qualify as a Knowsley Safari Junior Ranger. Over the 3 day period the children will have the opportunity to experience �life� as an animal keeper, conservationist and zoologist. There will be amazing behind the scenes experiences including: Assisting our elephant keepers muck out the elephant house and meeting our herd face to face (or face to trunk) A chance to feed our giraffes A behind the scenes tour of the rhino house Other activities will include: Learning how to handle and health check a range of small mammals, reptiles and invertebrates Carrying out behavioural studies on our meerkats Chatting to our sea lion trainers about their jobs This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for animal lovers and budding zoologists! All children will receive a certificate at the end to celebrate their graduation as a Junior Ranger Session 1 � 1 - 3rd August (9.30 - 3.30pm) Session 2 � 22 - 24th August (9.30 - 3.30pm) Lunch not included Places limited 14 per session!
