As the sound of our live Jazz Speakeasy Bootleg Band echoes throughout the building, immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Roaring 20?s. Dance the night away with our authentic dance duo,Feets of Amazement, to the classic movements of the Lindy Hop, Charleston and Blackbottom. Hedge your bets at the roulette & blackjack tables, sip themed cocktails and embrace the fast paced and fancy-free atmosphere of the Prohibition era to a backdrop of silent cinema, props and surprises that will make this prohibition night one you will never forget! The dress code is smart attire with a touch of the old 1920?s razzle-dazzle. The prohibition era brought with it civil unrest and instability creating a void in society, a void that was eagerly pounced upon and quickly filled by gangsters, illegal bootleggers and underground drink dens called �Speakeasies�. Out of the depths of this despair there arose a new exciting culture as citizens rebelled and partied like never before. Jazz shook the 1920�s to the core, the exhilarating sounds giving rise to the crazy gyrations of the Charleston and Blackbottom. Glamour became the norm with shorter dresses and higher heels. The pace was faster, people played harder, they lived for the moment and every moment counted.
