ANIMATION MAGIC AT UNDERWATER STREET DISCOVERY CENTRE

Children will be amazed at Underwater Street’s Animation Magic event this summer holiday. Located at the world famous Pier Head in Liverpool, kids (and adults!) will find plenty to keep them amused right on the banks of the River Mersey.

Get creative in their fantastic new magnet workshops based on characters from favourite animated movies including Toy Story, Frozen, Spiderman, Despicable me and many more...they will look fabulous on your fridges or radiators!!

In between the magnet workshops there are plenty of activities to keep visitors entertained including catapult planes, balloon-powered Batmobiles, parachuting soldiers and jumping Olafs. There are also some very popular costumes to be found at the creative station featuring masks, capes, crowns and props...become your favourite hero or villain for the day!

More inquisitive children (and adults) can attend the animation workshops and see how their favourite movies are created: from old-fashioned thaumatropes and zoetropes to more modern stop-motion techniques, children can design and create their own animated sequence and see it come to life before their eyes.

In addition to the fabulous animation activities visitors can enjoy Underwater Street’s usual science workshops and shows including fun with bubbles, slime factory and bath bomb making!!

Organised by Liverpool’s leading tour operator Cavern City Tours, the annual International Beatleweek Festival celebrates the music of the most famous pop group the world has ever known. And it all happens in the place where it all began.. Liverpool.
