Tri Liverpool is a truly spectacular triathlon event taking place on the 14th August 2016 in the Royal Albert Docks area of Liverpool City Centre.
Join up to 2,000 participants of all ages and abilities and swim, bike and run your way to the iconic finish line located outside the Echo Arena.
Whether you take part as an individual or as a team, Tri Liverpool guarantees you a truly unforgettable event experience that will, quite literally, take your breath away!
British Championships
TriLiverpool is the proud host of the British Triathlon Championships for the following categories:
Age Group Standard Distance Triathlon
Youth Elite Triathlon
Junior Elite Triathlon
TriLiverpool is also part of the British Triathlon Super Series, with the series winner being crowned British Elite Champion.
New to Triathlon?
TriLiverpool is the perfect event to start your triathlon journey, with bespoke participation opportunities for first timers. In 2015 over 300 people, many local Liverpool residents, made their d�buts in the sport, competing in their very first triathlon at TriLiverpool.

As in previous years, the event also hosts a leg of the British Triathlon Super Series as well as the British Age-Group Standard Distance Triathlon Championships, British Elite Sprint Triathlon Championships and the British Youth and Junior Triathlon Championships. Tri Liverpool will also provide the first opportunity for aspirant members of the Great Britain Age-Group Team to book their place at the 2016 ITU Triathlon World Championships in Mexico.
Alongside the elites and thousands of age-group competitors battling for British titles, there will also be the chance for novices to join in the fun, with a beginner�s race alongside a corporate relay, for those looking to create the tri spirit in their workplace. Tri Liverpool is organised by British Triathlon in partnership with Liverpool City Council. A highlights show of the event will be broadcast on Channel 4.
