Discover the heritage of Merseyside and Cheshire at the BBC Radio Merseyside Big History Show this March.

For two days over the weekend of 20 and 21 March over a hundred local history organisations will be at Liverpool's St George's Hall. The event is a chance to find out more about the history of your local area and get involved yourself. 

This weekend is in collaboration with the BBC and gives all local societies, history groups, museums, pretty much anything to do with the history of the North West, to come together for this history fair and conference. Over the course of the two days guest speakers including Steve Binns, Frank Carlyle, Brenda Murray and many more will give talks on the history and heritage of Liverpool, as well as performances, displays, tours and the opportunity to buy gifts and refreshments. Entrance fee for this event is £3, 2 for £5, with 75% of the proceeds going to the Lord Mayor�s charities. Tickets are available from the Heritage Centre.
