Tall Ships Liverpool Irish Sea Tall Ships Regatta An action packed four day event is being planned by Liverpool City Council and Sail Training International to welcome the international fleet of Tall Ships and crews to the North West from Thursday 30th August � Sunday 2nd September 2012. A fleet of Tall Ships including magnificent Russian Class A square rigger Mir, will make a spectacular return as they race to the city for the first time since The Tall Ships Races 2008. Liverpool has a rich maritime history and has always been a friend to sail training which has helped to develop a strong willingness throughout the Tall Ships family to return to the city.
