An HD Odyssey: The Earth and The Planets

Join the London Philharmonic Orchestra for a spectacular multimedia evening featuring Duncan Copp's award-winning high definition films 'The Earth' (European premiere) and 'The Planets'. Breathtaking footage from NASA's exploration of the solar system will be projected on a giant screen and accompanied by evocative cosmically-inspired scores including 'The Planets' by Holst and Strauss's epic tone poem 'Also sprach Zarathustra' (the opening to 2001: A Space Odyssey).

Music and science join forces to offer a once-in-a-lifetime virtual trip to space. An audio-visual bombardment of the senses that is not to be missed!

A concert featuring music that has appeared both on film and in the theatre - the list is endless, but we have put together a programme we think you will like.A concert of two halves, but with lots of common ground - this is the perfect concert for a summers evening and what better way to shake off those winter blues or simply keep the momentum after our amazing songs from the shows concert.
