Not in Edinburgh this August? Comedy it�s just as good at the Laughterhouse!

August is always a big month for UK comedy with the �Comedy Festival on the Fringe� in Edinburgh, hosting hundreds of live comedy show all around the Scottish capital.

But here in Liverpool things are looking just as good for all comedy lovers!
The Laughterhouse�s �Road to Edinburgh Comedy Van� in Scarborough Open Air in Yorkshire last weekend exceeded our expectations attracting over 2,500 people over 3 days!

And this August we have some amazing acts joining us on the stages of our city central venues- the Slaughterhouse and Lenny�s Bar and Smoke Grill- for all of those who don�t want to miss out on quality stand-up comedy and have a great weekend out.
Highlights for this month include Daliso Chaponda and his fine mixture of �Malawi-style storytelling, British cynicism, and distinctly Canadian self-victimization� Sony-award winner and Mock of the Week regular Milton Jones, former North West Comedian of the Year Steve Harris, Ninja Benjamin, the rising star of Manchester underground comedy Jonathan Mayor, known for �dressing like a butterfly and stinging like a scorpion� in his all glitter/Bollywood-inspired live shows, genial Irishman Caimh McDonnel, Steve Royle and many more.
Our quartet of fine resident MCs Chris Cairns, Ste Porter, Keith Carter and Neil Fitzmaurice will host the shows and introduce a surprise guest comedian every night.
Our ticket prices are a steal as usual. Friday�s ticket prices at the Slaughterhouse range between �7 (with NUS) �11 (Live comedy only) to �27on (Live Comedy and Meal Deal option), while it�s just �14 for comedy only on a Saturday.
At Lenny�s Bar and Smoke Grill Friday�s ticket prices range between �7 (with NUS) �1, (Live Comedy only) and �19 (for Live Comedy and Summer Special Meal Deal). On Saturday you can enjoy the show for �14 or enjoy a delicious dinner from Lenny�s restaurant beforehand with the �30 Meal Deal.

Our shows are always sell-outs so book your tickets in time. We always retain a few tickets on the door so if you get there soon enough you can still get in even if it�s sold out online. All shows start prompt at 8.00 pm!
