April at Capital of Comedy is yet another outstanding month of leading comedy names headlining each week and for still only £10 per ticket on Friday’s and £12 per ticket on Saturdays and bought to you by leading Liverpool comedy agency ‘Tongue in Cheek Comedy’. Names in April include one of the biggest names in comedy on both sides of the Atlantic - Canadian Tom Stade (”No other stand-up oozes ‘star’ like Stade” - Toronto Star). Laid back character Mondo Jazz (”A sort of live, Latino Spinal Tap, very, very, very funny” - Daily Express) created by Dan Freedman with his painfully slow but hilarious approach to stand-up and the Alf Garnett/Mel Smith character Sol Bernstein (”An instantly winning creation” - The Independent) created by Steve Jameson, Sol has his own show which he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2003 to rave reviews. All nights are warmed-up by Liverpool’s best MC’s Ste Porter, Chris Cairns or Neil Fitzmaurice.

Capital of Comedy also has a great choice of food options with The Slaughterhouse’s extensive low priced Pub menu serving up to 7pm and also an exclusive 2-course comedy menu launched at MEET Argentinean restaurant (just 2 mins walk away). Doors for the Capital of Comedy on Friday and Saturday nights open at 7pm with stand-up commencing at 8pm.

Tickets are just £10 each on Fridays and £12 each on Saturdays.
