New theatre company brings Award Winning musical RENT to Merseyside.
What We Did Next, the latest up and coming theatre company in Liverpool is the first to be granted the rights to present the full version of Jonathan Larson�s hit musical RENT in Merseyside.
RENT is a rock opera with music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, based on Giacomo Puccini�s opera, La Boheme. It follows the lives of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York�s Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of AIDS.
What We Did Next is also very proud to be receiving the support of Sahir House. Celebrating 25 years, Sahir House provides a Multicultural Support and Information centre, offering a wide range of services to individuals and families living with or affected by HIV on Merseyside.
What We Did Next is presenting the full, uncut version of RENT from 22-24 April at 7:30pm at the Black-E, Chinatown, Liverpool, L1. Tickets are �10 / �8 concessions and seating is general admission. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wwdn.co.uk
