Over 100 fabulous events during a 2 week Festival of the Art of Everything. Stars include Edwina Currie, Doug Scott (mountaineer), Christine Truman (tennis), London Klezmer Quartet, and many others. International concert pianist Stephen Hough will play in St George's Hall for Festival Encore. The Arts of Science, Engineering and Astronomy are well represented and fun abounds with the Festival Scarecrow Trail, Archery for All, Dog Show, Fairground and much more. The Festival opens on Sat 26th Sept with a fabulous concert by Orchestra dell'Arte featuring The Carnival of the Animals, Three Bears Suite, Warsaw Concerto, Hymn to the Fallen and other favourites.
